First paragraph
Four hours later, everyone was standing in a giant
circle around the flagpole, just like the first day of camp, but this time, it
was called the farewell ring. All the campers were there, except Charlie Joe.
He was in Dr. Mals office, looking out the window, waiting for his parents to
pick him up. He was watching how the kids held hands and sang “ learning to
love, and loving to learn” for the last time.
Second paragraph
“I looked around one last time. I took it all in: the
basketball court, where we beat camp Jockstrap; the table of contents, where I
worked on my newspaper articles; the dining hall, where I took a stand against
extra workshop, and the lake, where Katie talked Dr. Mal into a compromise”.
(221) This makes me remember when I began to see all the places in my camp. It
was so sad that is was difficult not to cry. The part that I remember the most
was the soccer field. The field was where I felt good and I could play with
many kids and teach them some skills. Another thing that I remember where the
cabins because of the decorations that they had and there were really
comfortable. I think going to the camp that summer is something I will never
forget.
I like this
book because it´s a little bit funny and is interesting. Is a good book for 8
graders or 9 graders, they will enjoy the book. I recommend this book because this
book makes you enter into the camp and feel like you read every night. Also, this
book can transmit a message to you. And the message of the book is that if don’t
want to do something you need to try it first because you will probably like
it.
